On their debut album, Binary Spirals plays jazz fusion that draws from Jeff Lorber, Steely Dan, and The Police, as well as a little bit of blues and funk.
Songs like Moving Pivots is funky in a contemporary, smooth jazz way while For Jane evokes the sultry jazz singer in a smoky cafe, before slipping into a smooth Samba.
Fans of fusion looking for a mellow groove will appreciate Binary Spirals, whether they are fans of rock, straight-ahead jazz, or R&B.
